1. Eyelash Growth Serum

You will need:

  • Castor Oil – 1tsp
  • Emu Oil – 1tsp
  • Coconut Oil – ½tsp
  • Vitamin E Oil – 2 capsules

Procedure

To prepare, mix all the ingredients together and store in a small dropper bottle.

How to Use

To use, take a drop onto a cotton swab or on your finger. Massage gently into the lash line. It is recommended to use it at night. Allow it to work overnight and rinse in the morning. You can also use it to treat thinning eyebrows. Regular use can show notable results.

2. Aloe Vera Lash Serum

This is an old and well established recipe that has been adopted by many women and has given 100 percent results. To prepare:

You will need:

  • Castor Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Vitamin E Oil – 4 tbsp
  • Aloe Vera Gel – 2 tbsp

Procedure

To prepare, blend both the oils together. Then add Aloe Vera gel to the mixture. Mix well and store in a container. You can use an old mascara bottle (thoroughly washed with warm water). Apply a thin layer using a clean liner brush. Continue application for 6 weeks to get desired results.

3. The Conditioning Blend

This conditioning recipe not only accelerates the growth (length) of eyelashes but also improves the texture and density. To prepare:

You will need:

  • Aloe Vera Juice – 1 tbsp
  • Flaxseed or Jojoba Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Chamomile Tea – 1 tsp (prepared with 1 teabag steeped in ¼ cup boiling water)

Procedure

Mix the ingredients in mentioned quantities and store in an old mascara bottle. Make sure that the bottle has been washed properly with warm water and there is no trace of mascara in it. Apply this conditioning mixture onto the lashes twice a day. However, remember to rinse off the serum before applying mascara, if you have to. This nourishing recipe protects the eyelashes from getting dry and brittle while increasing the length.

4. Lengthening Serum

It is a fact that the more you nourish the lashes, the more they grow thicker and denser. To prepare this lengthening serum,

You will need:

  • Castor Oil
  • Sweet Almond Oil
  • Vitamin E

Procedure

Take a container or an old mascara bottle. Fill it 3/4th full with castor oil. Then fill 1/8th of the container with sweet almond oil and the remaining 1/8th with vitamin E oil. Shake well to mix. To apply, you can use the old mascara wand but make sure that it does not contain any trace of mascara. Regular use can show notable results.

5. Lavender Oil Serum

Lavender oil is known to increase the growth of lash hair. To prepare:

  • Coconut Oil –  ½ tsp
  • Lavender essential oil – 3-4 drops

Procedure:

Mix the oils together and apply over the lashes using your finger. You can also use a cotton swab for the process. Move from roots towards the end for desired results. You will experience notable results within a month of application.  

Caution Tip

Even though these recipes are simply awesome but these should not enter your eyes. Therefore, as a cautionary act, make it a point to be very careful when applying any of the above mentioned serums for eyelash growth. To ensure this, use a thin layer application. Even though these serums are diluted, they may sting a bit if they get into your eyes. If, in any case, the serum enters your eyes, AVOID WASHING IT WITH WATER. Instead, take some more oil (any one of coconut, castor, sweet almond, or any vegetable oil, and massage it over your eyes to clean it up. After this, wipe off any excess oil with warm water.

Adding further, you can also use these boosters on eyebrows to enhance growth of thinning eyebrows. These serums have a shelf life of one year if kept in air tight containers.
